Hey. :-) Thanks, both of you! :-) For all the sweet comments you've made -- they are very inspiring! I'm glad y'all like these outfits. I had lots of fun turning them out. Sure. :-) Actually, if you take the overskirt off this one, and put the 'house dress' texture on, it does kinda look like an ordinary dress. :-) Also, you can use those Poser or DAZ Studio material packs from Renderosity or DAZ3D to texture this dress since it's got a lot of MAT zones. You could use the 'Dirty Pretty' set to make a farm dress. Thank you for the nice comment! :-) Jan

One of your best for certain! Thanks, Jan! Would you consider doing a more ordinary 1870-80s dress? Such as the kind a farmer's or rancher's wife might wear--both dress up and daily? Always appreciate whatever you come up with.

Last few words...you do have to know how to model 'cause you have to alter the base geometry in Randy's kits. You can't use 'em as is. But they're a great starting point for any sort of V4/M4 garment. :-) Whew...deep breath...finally finished. ;-)

Lordy, I've made a nice mess of this commentary. Anyhow, I really recommend Randy's development kits to anyone -- even if you've modeled for Vicky or Mike before -- who's interested in modeling clothes for Vicky or Mike 4. Shoes, for instance, kick my rear. But Randy's bases really help a lot in that area!

Compulsive modeler and getting better work after work. After analyzing the geometries of this new work i have to say that this is your best work. In the next days i'm gonna realese some addons to this fantastic dress. Maybe in the future you can make something similar to vampire bride (Royloo) or Wonderland Queen of Hearts (Bobbie25&Sveva).
