The stairs were more disconcerting than the perfect spire of volcanic stone that towered for miles above them. Now they were certian there were more 'interesting' powers at work here... Got this put together from multiple parts of my "Spine of God" project. The concept is a stairway that's been found inside a towering volcanic spire that raises out from the deepest ocean. This will never get used, as all the characters are acutally shipmates, but the scene just fell together so perfectly. Rendered in Poser, with a little postwork in Photoshop for the ground fog. The characters are V3, M3, and Valendar's Kitdraken, and several other sets for their weapons and clothes. The cavern is actually an inverted mountain done in VUE (thanks, Rick!), and about 17 stair modules stacked one on top of the other. (I don't know where the stairs came from; the maker of the stairs didn't put a credit doc in the zip file. If anyone knows, enlighten me so I can list them in the credits.) The textures for the cavern and stairs are my own. Less
