These are tough lace-up boots for Vicki-4. Ideal for all situations, from the combat zone to the dance floor, from a forest hike to the fashion catwalk, dark goth, practical or just plain cute... it's all up to your imagination!
This is a pair of conforming boots, included with six styles applied via easy Mat Poses. There are separate parented bootlace props, which can be rotated to simulate dynamic action poses. The boots have nine different material zones, allowing for a huge variety of mix-and-match combinations.
There is a minor issue with shadow glitching around the toes when bent - possibly due to the way Poser handles mesh deformation when used with a bump map. For most renders this will not be a big deal if the boots are not shown in close-up. Just something for the end user to be aware of and work around.
Tested in Poser-6 and Poser-7/Pro. Will probably work in Poser-5 and lower, allowing for limitations of the Mat Poses. Beta feedback says that these boots also work in DAZ-Studio with minor tweaking.
These boots can be used in both commercial and non-commercial renders. A credit would be appreciated but is not essential.
In the spirit of free sharing, I will NOT allow for commercial add-ons to be produced for these boots (ie: texture add-ons, morphs etc). However, please note that I would love for people to produce FREE add-ons to share with the community.
