USS Conneticut BB-18, Pre-Dreadnaught Battleship

Poser

« Prev Next »

This is the 5th in my ongoing series of WW1 warships. The Uss Conneticut BB-18 was the first of this class to be constructed as a new heavy class battleship for the US Navy (her sister the Uss Minnesota was 5th in the class). The Conneticut gained fame as the over-all Flagship of the "Great White Fleet", in which all her sisters sailed, as well as Fleet Flagship during various expositions and Presidential parades. This model also comes with 3 mat poses, representing major colour schemes in service during her carreer (see readme for details!)

That's correct Bard... and thanx for providing link so that people can look up the history if they like... I've included some basic notes on the history of each ship with my readme's but it's always nice for people to know where to look if they want a little more background ;)

This was the lead ship of the class, which included the USS Minnesota. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connecticut_class_battleship
