![Sound Stager Note: Windows only!!!!
[This was formerly for sale at the lamentably deceased 3dCommune.]
SoundStager is a sound manager for Poser. It mixes sound effects and
voice segments into a single output wave file. You select props or body
parts in the usual way; pick waves from the SoundStager wave list; set
parameters and Modes to decide how and when the sound begins; and
finally hit Mix to form up the mixed sound.
Each sound is tied to an Actor in the scene. You can control or trigger
the sound in several ways based on the moves of the Actor; or trigger
when the Actor collides with one or more specified objects; or you can
simply mix in a sound or music track as background; or you can let a
Mimic pose control the mouth while SoundStager locates the sound.
SoundStager will sense the Actor's location at each frame of the
animation, then automatically adjust the volume and left-right
proportion to place the sound in 2-dimensional space (left-right and
front-back).
An important special use of SoundStager: If you have a figure such as a
robot or bird whose mouth parts don't fit Mimic's standard names,
SoundStager will adapt Mimic's mouth-open commands to any chosen part or
parameter, will vary the degree of opening, and will start the Mimic wave
file at any point in the animation.](http://www.ShareCG.com/images/medium/56793.jpg)
