Hey. :-) Thanks, both of you! :-) For all the sweet comments you've made -- they are very inspiring! I'm glad y'all like these outfits. I had lots of fun turning them out. With the continued popularity of V4, I guess I'll be making more. Again, thanks SO much and...well, I hope Vicky enjoys the additions to her wardrobe. ;-) Jan

The difficulty is that one begins to run out of superlatives...

WOW Jan you've created another beautiful gown, Your time, patience and generosity with the hard work that goes into your creations hasn't gone unnoticed. and I thankyou along with many who love your work.

dwrender, that's an awfully nice thing to say! I've gotten a lot from the 3D community though. People have gone out of their way to help me...PhilC, English Bob, OKCRandy...a few others who'd probably rather remain anonymous. ;-) Anyway, I'm glad you like what I do. Jan Thanks!
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Wonderful, Leoni! :-) I'm so glad you like the dress. Thank you for using it.
dwrender (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
You make the best clothes and you are so generous. Thank you for all you've offered out here to the 3d community.

perlk (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Thank you so much - I LOVE this! I, too, may try texturing it. It's so beautiful!

Hallo, Malea. Ich spreche kein Deutsch, aber ich will den Übersetzer versuchen. Vielen Dank für Ihre wunderbare Kommentare! Ich schätze sie sehr. Jan :-)

Hi, Goldie! I can sympathize with the 'busy' part! :-) Thanks for taking the time to comment and I'm glad you like the dress! Hope you do find time to make textures for it. :-) Jan

Thank you Thank you Thank you verry much

Oh this is fantastic, Jan! I need to make some time to do textures for it! (I have been busier than a nine tailed cat in a rocker factory o.O)
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Sure. :-) Actually, if you take the overskirt off this one, and put the 'house dress' texture on, it does kinda look like an ordinary dress. :-) Also, you can use those Poser or DAZ Studio material packs from Renderosity or DAZ3D to texture this dress since it's got a lot of MAT zones. You could use the 'Dirty Pretty' set to make a farm dress. Thank you for the nice comment! :-) Jan
Jeremy Miller (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
One of your best for certain! Thanks, Jan! Would you consider doing a more ordinary 1870-80s dress? Such as the kind a farmer's or rancher's wife might wear--both dress up and daily? Always appreciate whatever you come up with.

Last few words...you do have to know how to model 'cause you have to alter the base geometry in Randy's kits. You can't use 'em as is. But they're a great starting point for any sort of V4/M4 garment. :-) Whew...deep breath...finally finished. ;-)
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Lordy, I've made a nice mess of this commentary. Anyhow, I really recommend Randy's development kits to anyone -- even if you've modeled for Vicky or Mike before -- who's interested in modeling clothes for Vicky or Mike 4. Shoes, for instance, kick my rear. But Randy's bases really help a lot in that area!

One thing I've forgotten to stress...a large part of the credit for my improvement has to go to OKCRandy and his V4 Development Kit (Renderosity). I started working with that a couple of months ago. Studying and altering his base geometry--and his mapping--kinda struck a chord in my head. I started getting braver and experimenting -- so thank you, Randy! :-) I highly recommend that kit to an

Alphonso, are you reading my mind? ;-) You must be...something like that is next on the agenda! Thanks for your encouraging remarks! :-) Oh, can't wait to see your add ons! And Nanette's scenes. :-) Thanks, Wand, Bard, and Unicorn! You are all very, very kind and I appreciate you. Jan
Unicornst (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
It's so darn pretty!
BardCoennius (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Very cool...thanks!

Beautiful work, Jan!
NanetteTredoux (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
You make such great clothing. I am going to have to do some historical scenes to try to do this justice. Thank you ever so much.
Aphonso3D (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Compulsive modeler and getting better work after work. After analyzing the geometries of this new work i have to say that this is your best work. In the next days i'm gonna realese some addons to this fantastic dress. Maybe in the future you can make something similar to vampire bride (Royloo) or Wonderland Queen of Hearts (Bobbie25&Sveva).
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Thanks, WERTS! :-) I'm very glad. And you're welcome, infinity. What else would I do with all this stuff that I turn out? ;-) I'm a compulsive modeler, I guess.

Thanks to all of you for the lovely comments! Jan

It´s working now. Thank you for another fantastic work Jan. And theres no need to apologize.
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
Can y'all see it now? :-))) Reminds me of that commerical..."Can you hear me now?" ;-) If not, lemme know! Jan
Jan (7 years ago)Inappropriate?
I'm sorry. :-) It takes forever to get my stuff up 'cause my runtimes get fat on occasion. ;-) This one was so big it took 110 minutes to upload. I apologize for the delay. :-) Jan
