This was done as a workshop for issue #0015 of 2D Artist Magazine. The topic was a randomly generated speed painting based on the phrase " A Scary Creature Emerges from a Forest. " The main goal here was to depict a cold, eerie forest and a horrifying creature design without spending too much time noodling about with the details. A few custom brush shapes, custom textures and 3 hours later, the "Frigid Patrol" speed painting was born.
