Here is a video that I made that will explain the process to resurface a Hi Res mesh inside of Maya. There are some scrits that I have been using to get the job done. The firts is a great script from Hi end 3D called xyShrinkWrap.mel. I love this script. The rest are some scripts that I made to make set up for resurfacing a lot easier. http://www.lucidrevelations.com/Training/zip/resurfacingMelScripts.zip put these on a shelf. To set up resurface model, select it, then run the resurfacingSetUp.mel script. Use the resurfacingTransSlider.mel to control the opacity of your model. Less
