by pure chance i think i just discovered something: if you set the render size to "viewport", there's no stretching. but i didn't test it in detail, had to go AFK... and forgot about it ;). not even sure how big the pic i was testing came out i didn't save it. but there's thought material there maybe?

@manekineko : Daz Studio stretches the backdrop image to fit the render size, afaik there are no settings in Studio to change that. I really hated having to adjust my render size and aspect ratio each time because my backdrop image got stretched and warped, so i made the script do that automatically. So the generated scripts indeed make the render adapt to the backdrop.

this looks awesome! though i have a question before i dl/install it: you write "The generated scripts will also adjust the render dimensions and aspect ratio to match the backdrop". what i hate is when my backdrops (direct from my stock hence not especially cut to the same size as my planned render/frame in the view, plus when it's bigger i can slide it around and pick the spot i more …
