I mixed the lighting presets from Shifting Image's Dungeon and simple Staircase prop sets to get that shadowing effect... found out today that scenes will render better if there are fewer light sources and camera angles to have to chew on. :O Thanks for the tip btw!

I know what you mean. Its just a lot of trial and errors.
I think the Raytrace settings are always your best bet, and a good starting point, you just have to be patient to wait for the renders to complate, the more you render the more you will learn what works best. and how to point, your light source. That is how most of us here started by just playing with the settings, :)
