To clarify the purpose of this pose, this was how Moses instructed Aaron to bless the people in Numbers 6:24-26. For those unfamiliar with this tradition, the hands appear to be a â��vulcan saluteâ��...and with good reason, as Leonard Nimoy was Jewish, and suggested this now famous hand signal as an appropriate vulcan greeting for the original Trek series, which he borrowed more …
