SCULPTED PRIM new Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

I would like to ask if are are able to creat sculpted prim from these 3d models and any future new ones.. i just got started in 3d modeling ( human models and furnitures(livingroom stuf).i did saw the export convertions..mostly like dae helps kinda to use my model (in a grid for example) but as some viewer do not see mesh i would like to try to get the sculpt map from whatever i creat and import it so every user can see it..

i know importing mesh can be a pain in the a$$ but sculptes have been working fluently since 2006 in grids..

so i just wonder how can i posibly creat the map from the objs/3ds/dae files that i save...

ps:i hope i made some sense lol

cheers

(sorry if i was off the topic, first time i text in this forum) ^_^

Hi djjenny,

Are you hoping to use the prim in Second Life?

I used to play SL but havnt recently, so things might have changed a bit. I used to put things together in Wings3d and then play around with the exported maps in gimp or photoshop.

Blender has some plugins that might do this also- check out the second link below.

To save you using all your L$ when uploading to SL there is ( or was) a beta testing grid that you can login to when entering SL. You can test your maps there before uploading to SL.

Here are a few links that should be useful.
