There are a couple of places you can go to that have what you are looking for.

You'll have to register but its quick and free.

The first one is here -

This is actually a full officers uniform. Its in poser format but once extracted you should be able to find the Geometries folder and pull out the hat as an .obj without any probems. Check out the Texture folder for the image map.

its a little crumpled looking and needs retexturing for your needs but seems about the right shape.

The ontarget3D website is having some serious issues. I log in, then the moment I go to any product page it logs me out, so I can't download anything. It stays logged in as long as I don't visit any product page, lol. If you're able to access it could you upload that german officer file to somewhere like mediafire?

The Ontarget website does suffer from server overloads from time to time and perhaps thats what you experienced. You could also try a different browser or ensuring that 'cookies' are enabled in the browser you are using.

I'm sorry but, while i understand it might help you, I wouldnt feel very happy about uploading someone elses copyrighted work for distribution without their aproval.
