Hi from France,With DAZ3D 4.9, I wonder how to light the screen of a cockpit jet on. Before you could do that with surface tab, I guess, but DAZ 4.9 is very different. 

could you please help me to resolve it in order to have my cockpitjet'screens brighting?

In surface tab select the part of the object u want to light, go to shader tab and look for iray uber base, double click it and thwn in editor modify the color of the screen and select the amount of lumens and color temperature u want, create a render area on ur viewport to see how it looks to tweek it
