Help with poser file uploads Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi, I just started uploading to the site and need some help or advice.

I have created several poser props and figures that I would love to share.  My question is: is there a tutorial or instructions on how to know what to include in the 'zip' file to insure I have all of the parts from all of the subfolders in the Poser library related just to my selected prop or figure?

I see stuff spread all over the libary and have no idea what is being looked for, or from where, when a prop of figure loads.

Thanks in advance

For Poser everything should be inside the Runtime directory, Usually whatr you would need to include as follows:

Runtime:

Geometries: (Any subfolder you placed the item in)

myitem.obj    (this is the obj file of your item)

Textures: (any subfolders under textures you placed your textures in)

mytexture.jpg   (these would be all the textures used for your item)

     Libraries:

Character:   (any subfolders under character you placed your character in)

mycharacter.cr2       This is for CR2's basically if its a character it goes in this directory

mycharacter.png     This is the thumbnail that shows up in poser/Daz

Props: (any subfolders under prop you placed your prop in)

myprop.pp2             This is the prop file

                   myprop.png             This is the thumbnail

Pose:  (any subfolders under pose you placed your pose in)

mypose.pz2      this is your pose file

                    mypose.png     this is the thumbnail

This is quick basic and hopefully understandable
