I think that a 2d section is pretty badly needed.

At the moment it seems that transparent .png's and backgrounds are being put in plug ins or textures. Neither of which are the right places for them. It's hard enough to find particular textures as it is without also having to wade through .png's etc.

If there was a downloadable section for 2d stuff, then as well as the transparent .png's and backgrounds it could also include stock photography, paintshop pro and photoshop brushes and tubes and misc/other.
