I'm a Vue-er too. Tutorials are welcome, of course, but I'd also like to find some links to 3d Vue-models, free if possible. I've found lots of free models in .3ds or .obj format, which can be transformed to be suitable in vue renders, but very few which are directly in .vob, .mat or .veg format. Does anyone know anything about such links, or aren't there any to be found?

Hi I checked out the Vue site and here's what they say about importing different formats:  (Just FYI)

IMPORTS 

3DS: 3D Studio� object file format.
COB: TrueSpace� object file format.
DEM: USGS Digital Elevation Model. Terrains are placed according to information in the file (ideal for importing multi-part DEMs).
DXF: AutoCad� object file format.
LWO, LWO2: LightWave� object file format.
OBJ: Wavefront� object file format (with automatic MTL library conversion).
PZ3, PZZ: Curious Labs� Poser� static scene import (requires Poser 4, 5 or 6).
SHD: Shade� object file format.
TGA: 16 bit RG encoded Targa altitude map.

PZ3, COB, 3DS, LWO and OBJ formats are converted together with UV mapping information and texture maps.

Vue 6 Esprit exports terrains (UV mapped with textures) as COB, 3DS, LWO, OBJ and DXF files. Terrains can also be exported as grayscale picture files.

Thank you. I knew that already ; it's in the Manual. Now I'm using Vue 7 Infinite. It's great, but the problem remains the same. You can find enough models at Cornucopia, Vue's official content site, but you must pay for them. It's as difficult as ever to find free models, materials or plants for this software. There are only a few sites that provide them. Nevertheless, you can easily find free models and materials for Bryce (right here at ShareCG, for instance), a landscaping program not so versatile as Vue, in my opinion.

Here are some place where you can get free .vob models; although they vary greatly in quality.  Frankly, though, it is so easy to import .3ds and.obj formats, I don't see why you would want to deny yourself the use of such.
