you did not mention the tutorials available on the daz-site. 

for example: hexagon beginner' tutorial: click on it - dead end

next tutorial: something with an arc: existing, but the pictures inside are not. therefore extremely helpful, especially since this tutorial obviously was made with an older version (so another UI) ...

the same with studio tutorials...

but talking about the you tubes... i think i watched dozens of it, some several times. but in my opinion most of those are not really helpful - also made with  an older version, didactically bad (f.e. a tutorial about the shader mixer starting with, i guess, 10 bricks...)

somewhere i said, that 'try and error' is something i like, but doing it all day long and for many days is not so funny...
