Re: splitting poser content into its own section [re: MatrixWorkz]Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

Hi matrixWorkz --- We're about to move all submitals that are currently in the 3d Models section and that are flagged as formatted in Poser to the Poser section of the site.

Once in the Poser section these files will appear in the "other" format and the "other" category.  Each Poser person will have to go in to their account and upldate the correct format and categories for these.

Before I push the button I'd like to try our methodology out, and I wonder if you'd be willing to be the trial case?  If so we'll pick 5 of the Poser files that you've got in the 3d models section to test things out.

If you agree to be the trial case, you'll get an email from me (same as I'll be sending to the other Poser folks that are currently in the 3d Models section) that explains what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what you should do.

Once the actual file transfer takes place we'll send another email telling you what we've moved, and that lists the identifier of each of the files that have been moved. (The identifier is the unique number that appears in each upload's URL.  For example, the URL to your Simple Pan Hat for Poser is 'http://www.sharecg.com/v/11525/' and the id is 11525).  I'll also again ask you to change the format type and category from "other" to the applicable Poser types.

We won't destroy your hits and we won't change the path to your uploads.

Would you be willing to work with us on this?

David
