Yes, there has been a numerous complaints about problems with uploads and downloads.  My problems with them are usually time related, rather than file size limitations.  With my 56k modem dialing in at 26k, I have a 5 to 6 megabyte limit, because the ShareCG connection times out.  I think it times out at 45 minutes, which means if my file hasn’t finished transferring by then, I loose everything.  ShareCG does not allow restarting uploads or downloads.  If your uploads take longer than half an hour, you may want to spilt it into more than one file.
