AgigA Tech to Showcase NVDIMM Technology at 2016 Flash Memory Summit

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 8, 2016 — (PRNewswire) —  AgigA Tech Inc., a subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ: CY) and a leading provider of high-speed, high-density, battery-free nonvolatile memory solutions, will showcase its latest innovations in Nonvolatile DIMM (NVDIMM) technology at the Flash Memory Summit from August 9-11, 2016 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. AgigA is planning the following activities:

  • Solutions Showcase: At the Solutions Showcase in Hall C, AgigA will demonstrate its DDR4 NVDIMM-N solutions on an HPE ProLiant DL380 server running Windows Server 2016, both of which have native support for NVDIMM. AgigA will show benchmark performance vs. an SSD. Attendees can bring their fastest SSD to see how it stacks up.
  • Multi-vendor NVDIMM-N Demo: At the SNIA/SSSI booth number 820 in Hall B, AgigA will participate in a multi-vendor demonstration of NVDIMM-N technology running on a single Supermicro X10 platform. The demo will show the interoperability of the technology through the efforts of the NVDIMM Special Interest Group under SNIA/SSSI.
  • NVDIMM Panel: Jeff Chang, AgigA's vice president of marketing and business development and co-chair of the NVDIMM SIG, will be hosting a session entitled "NVDIMMs: Powerful Persistent Memory Arrives in a Familiar Form," which will take place in room number 301 in Hall B on Thursday, August 11 from 8:30 to 9:35 a.m. Pacific Time. The session will include speakers from both HPE and Microsoft.
