AMD Booth # 2417
July 29, 2009- StudioGPU will be highlighting the high-performance features of its MachStudio Pro real-time 3D workflow and rendering technology on the newest AMD ATI FirePro™ 3D workstation graphics accelerators at SIGGRAPH 2009. Offering support for all major 3D modeling and animation programs, MachStudio Pro utilizes the GPU to dramatically streamline the production pipeline and deliver performance improvements of more than 900X over traditional cinematic quality rendering solutions.
StudioGPU will also be showcasing future MachStudio Pro technology, such as the support for displacement mapping with hardware tessellation and the ability to process more than a billion polygons in real-time. Other new features being demonstrated will include the ability to create full motion blur with velocity maps, stereoscopic camera support, configurable anti-aliasing algorithms (Box, Gaussian, Mitchell) and many more.
In other SIGGRAPH show news, StudioGPU will be joining AMD and others at the GPU-Accelerated Production Rendering session on Tuesday, August 4, at 9:45 am to discuss how massive parallelism in modern GPUs can be harvested to create game changing interactive production rendering environments with real-time workflow. StudioGPU, AMD and other prominent technology leaders will also be discussing the convergence of CG computing and visualization at the annual Jon Peddie Research media luncheon on August 5th.
