Sorry, it's looking for an .obj file because I made it in Poser long before there ever was a DAZ Studio. :) Try doing what John suggested below, create a plane and apply the smoke manually to it from the Surfaces menu. I'd still really recommend checking deviantArt for some free smoke brushes or buying deviney's from DAZ, they're much better. ;)

soz about the comment bein croped, heres the rest.....OPACITY part and click the little arrow then select BROWSE and browse to where ever you put the textures for this and select the one you want to use, once applyed to the plain, place it where you need it and presto chango instant cigarette smoke / smokin crater or maybe just a steaming grate

Ah, I'm sorry about that hamstergirl! The square it's searching for is the default Poser primitive square; if you're using DAZ Studio it won't be able to find it. Try applying them to a primitive one-sided square in DAZ Studio and see if that works. Again, very sorry - it's been years since I made these. :)

Little help? When trying to use the smoke, I get a msg. unable to locate square.obj in Geometries/Props......and the file is not in the zip from what I can see.....is it me, or is something missing? The ciggie prop is great, but I REALLY needed this last night, LOL!
