No way!!!! I've always thought this plane was awesome! years ago, when I was in weather observing school at Chanute AFB, Illinois, we had to march to school at 5am every morning, and our route took us right past one of these that was on static display. One writer called the B36 "a plane looking for a war". The older B29 was used during the Korean war instead because the Air Force was afraid the B36 would be shot down/captured and copied by the commies. This was strange because they were telling American fighter pilots that they couldn't shoot it down and "proved" it with RIGGED tests in which the fighters were loaded more …
