Poser figure with bones that match Carnegie Mellon MoCap Report this article as Inappropriate to us !!!Login to Reply

I want to use Using Carnegie Mellon MoCap files as an animation guide in DAZ/Poser to animate V4 + M4.
These are the files I would like to use:

I know there is a conversion here, which is very very cool but ...

They actually don't load onto V4+M4 very well for my purposes, since I can not tell how the original body movement was meant to look. The conversion, as cool as it is, screwed with the moCap a bit too much.

Here is someone elses attempt, you can see what I mean:

I want to try a different method. What I need is a Poser figure that has the SAME skeleton as the Carnegie Mellon files so it will work without doing any conversion.

I, to apply the motion to my Poser V4+M4 figures, I will use this 2nd figure as a 3D guide in DAZ. I will manually hand animate my V4 figure to match it. This will give me a result that is closer to the original body movement than what I am getting with the converted mojodallas moCap files.

All I need now is the right Poser figure with the right skeleton to match the Carnegie Mellon files. I am not sure where to look for such a thing.

Then I can get started converting this excelent MoCap resource to beautiful, jitter free, Poser animation format.

Any help pointing me in the right direction to find this Poser figure would be awesome.
