Bit of a change of pace for me lately- here‘s a rigged and poseable moray eel, useful if your hovercraft is eel-deficient or if you wish to correct …

At last, I can correct a lack of social morays! Oh wait...

Thanks for sharing this figure!

Thank you very much

Whoops. Spoke too soon.

Yes, the eel is poseable. But the pose only survives one Daz Studio session. If you save the file, exit Daz Studio, and then re-start Daz Studio, open the saved file, the eel returns to zero pose. Oh well. I guess this is not gonna work for Daz Studio.

Yes. Very nice. Thanks for making the fbx version. It loads into Daz Studio with rigged bones that allow manual posing.

... I‘d hate to leave anyone disappointed, with a stiff eel.

OK, for the non-Poser users in the audience, you can now (re)download the revised bundle which includes an FBX version of the eel (along with the Poser-structured Runtime, CR2, textures, etc.) Hope this helps.

Happy rendering!

Best suggestion, if you have Poser or know someone who does, would be to export an FBX file and bring that into D|S. My guess would be that the problem comes from my rigging it to work in P7 and onwards, rather than using weightmaps as supported in later Poser versions.
TBH I'm not that familiar with Studio, so I don't have a sure-fire way to make it work. Sorry if it's not ideal.

Superb!!! Looks great, cheers!!!

Pretty cool.

Any easy way to make it work in Daz Studio?

The best I can do so far is load the .obj and apply a texture file to a very stiff eel.
